The jasmine bud has been associated with pure and divine love since ancient times. It's not that mystical after all when it comes to its main function in our Face Cleanser: The buds essentially help with the gentle exfoliation of your skin.

Sesame oil – from the South of Italy:

In beauty products, sesame oil is perfect for counteracting the signs of aging. Furthermore, it has regenerating and soothing properties.

Oat extract – the very best of oats:

Extract from this traditional grain has both moisturizing and soothing properties. Fun fact: oat extract is also used in laundry detergents to increase skin tolerance.

Carnauba wax – from the leaves of the carnauba palm tree:

The wax creates the magic that allows us to offer it as a stick, which also saves a significant amount of water in the product.

HOW TO USE IT

STEP 1: Water is the face cleansers best friend.

Apply a portion of the Face Cleanser on your cleansing pad to create a foamy texture with slightly moist hands. Gently massage the cleanser into your face using circular motions. Don’t forget the area around your eyes!

STEP 2: Wash it all away.

Thoroughly rinse your face with warm water and remove any remaining dirt and makeup with the cleansing pad. Good to know: The cleansing pad should be washed after every use at about 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit).

STEP 3: … never forget to moisturize.

Even if using the face cleanser won’t dry out your skin, you should definitely give it some extra care. For example, our face serum will provide moisture thanks to its complex hyaluronic acids.

Why is facial cleansing so important?

Our mantra: Daily face cleansing is an absolute prerequisite for beautiful and healthy skin. Because in just one day you build up a layer of dirt, sweat, sebum and makeup. But even during the night when our skin is in its regeneration phase it is still producing oil and sweating. To avoid clogging up your pores and causing impurities you need a fat-soluble cleanser - water alone won’t do the job in getting into those pores!

When’s the best time to use a face cleanser?

Sporty spices, listen up: the cleanse post-workout is important to remove sweat as well as waterproof makeup. Only then will skincare products like face serum and face cream unfold their full benefits. Other than that, the general rule is cleanse before you go to bed and right after you wake up.

What should I pay attention to when it comes to face cleanser?

IIt’s a balancing act. The protective acid mantle of your skin here is key! It should always stay balanced. Aggressive face cleansers dry out the skin. That’s also why regular soap is too harsh for the tender skin on your face as they cause a neutral or slightly too alkaline state. Ideally, the pH-level of your skin should be between 4.7 and 5.8 - like our Face Cleanser. More on the acidic side - no matter how sweet you are yourself.
