What is a bronzer?

A bronzer is a tinted powder or a creme in an earthy shade. It’s used to give our skin a little extra boost of freshness. Compared to blush, it’s more about warmth than color. Hello there, summer skin!

How do I find the right bronzer?

A bronzer well-suited for athletes should be sweatproof and shouldn’t get too shiny. Just like our bronzing powder. If you have oily skin, a powder based variety is better as it helps get that matte finish. Creamy bronzers are better for dry skin and help provide a little extra moisture. In both cases the golden rule is that it shouldn’t be more than two shades darker than your natural skin tone. It’s best to test the colors on your wrist first.

How do I use a bronzer?

No matter what type of bronzer you choose, use it on top of a foundation or BB cream. It will give your skin a more even look overall. However, the shimmer of the product highlights imperfections and enlarged pores. This can also be tested very well on your own wrist, because the structure of the skin appears. The bronzer will stay better than on skin that’s oily and/or has just been moisturized. For application and blending,we recommend using a round, fan, or powder brush that will help spread the microparticles evenly on your skin.

How to apply the bronzer?

You want beautiful sun-kissed skin? Apply some bronzer onto your brush and place the brush on one side of your forehead. Skip out the middle part. Move the brush in a c shape all the way to your cheekbone and then draw another c shape all the way to the chin. Then blend it all in.

Can I use the bronzer for some contouring?

Heck yeah - our bronzer is ready for contouring anytime! The rule of thumb is: dark color puts areas more in the background, light colors bring it to the forefront. Round faces can achieve more contouring by accentuating the area above the eyebrow and below the cheeks. You want to make a heart shaped face seem a little leaner? In that case focus on the widest areas: temples and cheeks.
